Location: Preferably Plymouth/SW but flexible. We require full UK working rights for this role.
Salary: £22,00 – £36,000 subject to experience.



We are looking for an enthusiastic bid writer to join our team, to help us win new business by researching, preparing and writing tenders. You will work closely with our commercial team to identify lucrative tender opportunities that fit within the scope of the business, assembling the fundamentals to provide a winning bid for the business! 

You will be:

  • Writing, editing, proofreading documents
  • Writing and preparing tenders from start to submission 
  • Creating a tender library for the business in order to efficiently respond to bids 
  • Creating proposals and associated documents and overseeing the bid process
  • Liaising with team members to complete tender documents such as case studies and proof of work 
  • Organise/attend any necessary meetings and coordinate bid timelines and deadlines 

What you should have

  • Experience within tendering, procurement or bid management
  • An interest in software development
  • a technical background
  • An ability to work independently to tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills 
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills 
  • Passionate about driving business and a winning mentality 
  • An eye for detail and spotting lucrative opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills both written and face to face
